Bayshore And Brookdale Co-Sponsor Women’s Conference
A day of inspiration, laughter and learning from remarkable speakers was well received by a sold-out audience of more than 250 women at Brookdale Community College. Ian Leber, M.D., FACEP, FAAEM, medical director of the Department of Emergency Medicine and Chris Domalewski, vice president of Community Relations and Marketing, updated the audience on emergency medical care and new services available at Bayshore Community Health Services.

Keynote speaker was Kris Carr, award-winning actress, best-selling author, filmmaker and subject of the inspirational documentary, "Crazy, Sexy Cancer," which chronicles her four year adventure of living and thriving with cancer. Karr has been featured on The Today Show, Oprah and more. An irreverent foot soldier in the fight against disease, Karr inspires countless individuals and their families with her wildly successful books and blog, offering witty anecdotes, diet advice, tips for tackling tribulation, and words of encouragement.
